1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Mycelium: Old Growth is designed from the ground up as a premium, privacy-first single-player game:

• No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
• No Account Registration: You do not need to create an account, log in, or link social media profiles to play the game.
• No Advertising Identifiers or Ad SDKs: There are zero third-party advertising SDKs, ad trackers, IDFA tracking, or cross-app analytics in Mycelium: Old Growth.
• No Geolocation Data: We do not access GPS, Wi-Fi networks, or IP-based geographic location tracking.
• No Microtransactions or Payment Details: The game does not process in-app purchases or store credit card details. All App Store transactions are handled exclusively by Apple Inc.

2. Anonymous Gameplay Telemetry

To balance the game's quota curves, threat difficulty, and species win rates, the game may transmit non-personal, anonymous run summaries upon completing a run or entering dormancy:

• Run Configuration: Randomized seed number, selected Strain modifier, and forest biome.
• Game Performance Metrics: Surviving season (e.g., Year 3 Winter), total biomass accrued, and count of harvested spores.
• Draft & Deck Archetype: Number of rooted symbols and final inventory composition.
• App Version: Current game build version (e.g., v1.0.0 (23)).

This telemetry contains no identifiers linked to your device or personal identity and is used exclusively by our development team for Monte Carlo balance simulation and quality assurance.

3. Local Storage & Save Data

All of your progress—including Overgrowth unlocks, compendium discoveries, and high scores—is stored locally on your device using encrypted, isolated game storage (or Apple iCloud Sync if enabled on your device). This data remains entirely on your device and under your control.

4. Third-Party Services & TestFlight

When participating in the Apple TestFlight beta, Apple may collect crash diagnostics, device model information, and OS version details as governed by the Apple Privacy Policy. We do not use any third-party behavioral analytics or commercial data brokers.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Mycelium: Old Growth does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). Because no personal data is collected from any player, the game is safe for players of all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect game updates or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted directly to this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
